Miznon, which first made waves in Israel, has garnered a loyal following for its unique blend of Mediterranean flavors and laid-back atmosphere. The open concept lets you see the preparation firsthand, enhancing the sense of authenticity that the restaurant prides itself on. It's easy to see why so many people return time and time again-it’s not just about the food, but the whole experience.

Miznon is known for its inventive take on traditional Mediterranean street food. The menu features a variety of dishes, but the star of the show is undoubtedly their pita. This is no ordinary pita; it’s a warm, pillowy delight that can hold a delicious array of fillings. One standout is the “Miznon pita,” which is packed with slow-cooked lamb, fresh veggies, and a rich tahini sauce. It’s a perfect balance of textures and flavors that transport you straight to Tel Aviv. If you're not a lamb fan, there are plenty of other fillings to choose from, including grilled chicken, steak, and even a seasonal vegetable option. Each dish is crafted with care, showcasing the high-quality ingredients that Miznon is known for.

Alongside the pitas, Miznon offers a variety of sides that will make your meal even more memorable. The roasted cauliflower is a fan favorite. It’s charred to perfection, seasoned with just the right amount of spices, and served with a tangy yogurt dip. If you’re in the mood for something sweet to complement your savory meal, the “Israeli salad” is a refreshing choice. It’s light, fresh, and the perfect contrast to the richness of the pita fillings.

What sets Miznon apart from other eateries in the area is its ability to take simple ingredients and elevate them to something extraordinary. The chefs here focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it’s evident in every bite. There’s a real attention to detail, from the careful seasoning to the way each dish is plated. Miznon New York doesn’t just offer food; it offers a culinary experience that celebrates the flavors of the Mediterranean in a way that’s approachable and exciting.

For those looking to pair their meal with a drink, Miznon offers a variety of wines and refreshing beverages that complement the flavors of the dishes. Whether you’re enjoying a glass of Israeli wine or opting for something more traditional, the drink menu offers something for everyone.

  • Oh my god... The juiciest pita sandwich ever.. Tried the Rib Eye Minute Steak, it was amazing. The meat was so rich. The roasted peppers gave it amazing texture and tahini really balanced out the pita. I've never really tried Israeli food before, but tastes similar to Greek food.

  • Miznon is one of those rare spots where the food and the vibe hit just right. I came in hungry and left completely obsessed--especially with the ribeye pita. It's everything you want in a handheld meal: juicy, flavorful, perfectly seasoned meat wrapped in pillowy-soft pita with just the right amount of crunch and sauce. Honestly, it's crave-worthy. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, even during a busy lunch rush. They made the whole experience feel personal and fun, like you were being taken care of by friends who just happen to make amazing food. If you're anywhere near Chelsea Market, do yourself a favor and stop by. Your taste buds will thank you.

  • Very good food - we had the chicken schnitzel in a pita, which are rich and well-served for a person. The staff was polite and kind. The service was very fast. We also had a draft beer to go along with our pita bread sandwich. I highly recommend this place.

  • Famous Israeli chef Eyal Shani branch at Chelsea market. I took falafel burger. Tasty, noisy, waited about 15 minutes till the order was ready. A bit expensive for such dish (18$).

  • Stopped by Miznon inside Chelsea Market and had the chicken liver pita and whole roasted cauliflower — both were incredible. The chicken liver was rich, tender, and perfectly matched with caramelized onions inside their warm, pillowy pita. It’s messy, bold, and full of flavor, the kind of dish that feels comforting yet totally unique. The cauliflower is a showstopper on its own — simply roasted but unbelievably good. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, with a light drizzle of olive oil and sea salt that brings out its natural sweetness. You’ll see almost every table sharing one.

  • Got dinner here with a couple of old college friends, one of which frequents this spot quite a bit. We all got the folded cheeseburger, which was absolutely fantastic. Quite juicy. Getting them with the roasted peppers on the side is definitely the move. Overall great food that was extremely satisfying.
